IN ADDITION: When I asked two weeks ago for a second annual cleaning, Blossom Park Dental Care told me that I was only eligible for deep cleanings because supposedly I have gum disease. This deep cleaning would cost me $300 in addition to what my insurance pays. I had my Baltimore dentist check out my gums and they said they are fine. It is totally unreasonable that Blossom Park Dental Care did not give me a regular cleaning when I asked for it, and it makes me think they are committing insurance fraud by coding me as having gum disease and requiring that I get the more expensive deep cleaning.
DO NOT GO HERE. I moved from Baltimore to Kentucky and came to this clinic when I had a crown break off of my tooth. I went to Blossom Park Dental Care to have a temporary crown replacement and for a tooth cleaning. Two weeks ago (a year after the crown replacement), I went in for a checkup and full xrays and did not receive any treatment other than to be told that there was a "dark spot" where the crown was and that I might need a full implant to replace my crown, which would cost me $2000 with my insurance covering the remaining costs. I came back to Baltimore two weeks later and had my dentist here look at my crown because I felt like something wasn't right. It was CRACKED IN HALF and there was so much bacteria stuck in the space between the broken crown and my tooth there was a terrible smell. My Baltimore dentist took off the old crown, had to shave off parts of the tooth that had decay, and replaced it with a new and better crown that had a better fit around the gum line. WHY DIDN'T BLOSSOM PARK DENTAL CARE SEE THIS PROBLEM and fix it? My Baltimore dentist fully fixed the issue and it only cost me $410 with my insurance.
I will never go back to Blossom Park Dental Care again and recommend that you do not either.
I cannot rave enough about the Dr. and staff at Blossom Park! As someone who is extremely uncomfortable at the dentist, they went out of their way to make sure that I had the best experience possible. From the front desk staff, to my amazing hygienist, Kayla, to the Dr. herself, everyone was kind, comforting and amazing to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to refer anyone to make Blossom Park their regular dentist!!
Love this place.. I am not a big fan of going to the dentist and always put it off to the last minute.. Thankfully this place goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I wouldn't go anywhere else..
