I hired AmeriPro Painters the end of January to paint the exterior of my 1,400 square foot house. It's August and the job is still not completed. I've asked for some areas to be touched up with no response, I paid $300 for 2 window sill/frame replacements - instead of being replaced, caulk and foam spray were used. There are paint cans, paint chips, buckets, old brushes and trash still left at my residence. As stated above I've asked for touch ups (some places you can still see the original paint color), the windows sills/frames to be completed, the area cleaned up and free of paint chips. I've also asked for receipts and the names of my paint colors many, many times to no avail. The owner says he is coming but never shows up. I have emails and texts from him promising that he's on the way. Now he won't respond to emails, phone calls or texts. In addition, unauthorized charges were made to my credit card. This has been the most unprofessional, frustrating and ridiculous experience I've had dealing with a contractor.
First I would like to start this review off by letting anyone know this is the first negative review of any company I have ever posted online. Second, I have waited over 1 month to post this review in hopes I would "cool off" from my experience. I feel it is my obligation to let someone know my experience with this "company". You get what you pay for could not be any more true when dealing with a company. Shaun underbid the competition by $2000 and told me he really wanted the work. Long story short it took Shaun and his team 24 days from Start to finish to paint the outside of my 2000 sq ft house. No it was not delayed due to weather. After more than a week of my initial pressure washing, I had to issue a stop payment on one of the checks because I was convinced I had been scammed. During the first 3 weeks they were painting my house they probably averaged 1-2 hours of work a day and that is being generous. I rarely saw Shaun the entire process and would have to communicate with his team. Oh and getting a hold of him? forget about it. Everyday his cell phone was dead/lost/not working you name it, or had a new excuse of why the project was being pushed pack. I have worked with many contractors in my life and this was single handily the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I have so much more I could say about his work on this project and lack of attention to detail. I do think the owner Shaun Mosley is a good guy at heart but I could not recommend his work to my worst enemy.
