DO NOT TAKE YOU ANIMALS TO THIS CLINIC!!!!!

Great people great vets!! They really care about the animals.

These are some of the Nicest Veterinarians I have met in some time. My Family raises goats and other animals with 4-h and they allow the livestock club to tour their facilities yearly. Dr. Barron was awarded the #1 veterinarian by the Georgetown News Graphic in 2016. They will help your animals however they can.

Not only did they take their time to make me feel at ease and comfortable but they took time to make my cat feel the same. It was very peaceful and settling. I have great respect for them, not only as professionals, but also for being caring, heart felt individuals.

I can't thank them enough.

Dr. Barren saw our cat several weeks ago because my mother feared he was suffering from a UTI. After only spending moments with him in the exam room and feeling over him she determined she was 1000% percent positive there was no urine to attempt to pull for a test (Which in all my years of having pets I have never known a doctor to be able to do… she must be the WORLDS BEST). She recommended X-rays (which my mother assumed would be out of her price range) and that she was " More than welcome" to collect a urine sample…. from a cat…. at home (you know, normal things a professional vet offers as a realistic form of treatment)…. basically for my elderly mother to do job for her. So my mother takes the cat home. Dr. barren never followed up, never called to inquire if my mother would be bringing in said sample of to see how our cat was doing, which is something you would expect a CARING vet to do should she have really not been able to do much during the checkup. Two weeks later the cat quickly becomes visibly ill. My mother, having had such a poor experience in Dr. Barren's care, takes the cat to another vet. The cat DID have UTI which had now crystalized. The ACTUAL COMPETENT doctor we've now taken him to said he'd probably been in a good deal of pain and did not understand why she wouldn't have even attempted to pull a urine sample since my mother had TAKEN HIM IN!!! He has been in the emergency animal clinic for over a week and a half now, has had a catheter in him for several days and after having almost lost him several times we have now spent over $1000 trying to save him and he's still not out of the woods.

After having been understandably through an emotional roller coaster for the last two weeks, terrified of losing the family pet we've had for over a decade. I called to speak to this woman ( because I refuse to call her an ACTUAL doctor) and obviously, I was upset. Her responses ranged from " ARE YOU DONE?" to "You declined our treatment methods" (i.e.; X-rays and collecting our own sample FOR A UTI!!!!!) and "Well I'm sorry you were dissatisfied with your service" to my PERSONAL favorite…. being hung up on. This woman is not only incredibly unprofessional, but should have her license taken away. DR. BARREN WILL KILL YOUR ANIMALS AND THEN HANG UP ON YOU.

I had to euthanize my cat and decided it was most appropriate to have done at home. When I scheduled the appointment, the staff did not question my decision on asking for a house call, where another local vet tried pressuring me to bring my cat into their clinic.
