Not ALL Ken Towery shops are useless however. I went to the Danville store the following Monday after putting together a temporary solution to get me on my way to Cleveland. They discovered it was actually not the tire, but, the wheel that was the problem. Georgetown wasn't willing to even look at my truck to figure that out. No offer was made and they could have saved me three hours of lost time if they had.

Between her mouth and his spinelessness I got disgusted and they got exactly what they wanted....for me to leave and not bother them.

Was quite a bit of wait for just a single tire purchase. Salesmen were nice.

Bottom line.....I have been a loyal Ken Towery customer for a decade....I have purchased the higher end tire selection there every time knowing that if I had a problem, it was going to be taken care of. I got into my first ever pinch where I needed immediate help and the Georgetown Ken Towery Nonservice Center, their regional manager Justin M. and the pathetic help they had running THAT store on THAT day fell waaaayyy short of my expectation. I am still waiting on that call from that regional manager. He is obviously too busy to fool with customers as were the idiots at the Georgetown store. I WILL NOT EVER go back to this store again. I wouldn't take a yo-yo in there to get it restrung. Avoid the place if you want service.

I got to Ken Towery expecting the excellent service that I always have gotten in Danville. What an over-expectation!! There was a skinny kid that looked like he was nineteen years old running the front desk. "I'm not from this store, I work at a Lexington store." said the kid. He wasn't about to put his neck out there to help me on anything. He couldn't reach the real manager about my situation and said that the Michelin representative wasn't willing to back the tires when he finally got that joker on the phone. I told him I wanted to talk to a regional manager since I had been such a loyal customer to the chain and he gave me the name of Justin M. but wouldn't give me Justin's number for me to talk to him directly. He took my phone number and he actually went inside the shop area from the desk area to talk to call Justin so I wouldn't hear what he had to say. He claimed that he left a message for Justin on his voice mail and we would have to wait for him to call OUR cell phone. He also informed me that they didn't have the tire I needed for my truck and I was welcome to drive to another store in Lexington, nearly another thirty minutes away (the opposite direction from Cleveland) depending on traffic to see if they could help me. When he came out from the service area, he brought in some annoying woman who was back there that sounded like a parrot saying over and over and over and over, "you should have gotten the road hazard warranty.....you should have gotten the road hazard warranty....you should have gotten the road hazard warranty".....

If you need anything more than basic service move on. They wanted to charge me extra for an alignment because they didn’t know how to do it properly and then argued with me when I tried to show them how it’s supposed to be done. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

I was on my way to Cleveland on I-75 from Berea, KY to watch my son's next to last football game of his college career. I heard a loud "THUMP" and my truck started to vibrate violently at 75 mph. I got off the interstate at an exit that was close and circled the truck and couldn't see anything obvious. I got some help with jacking up the truck and all of my wheel bearings seemed tight. After spinning the wheels while still attached on the front of the truck, one tire and wheel was very crooked and out of balance. I was sure it was a broken belt in the tire that wasn't obvious at first look the way the tire wobbled. I got my spare on my truck and looked up Ken Towery stores on my phone and found that the nearest store was in Georgetown. I bought my Michelin Tires in the Danville/Hustonville Road store and this was one of ten sets of Michelin tires that I've bought in Danville from Ken Towery in less than a decade. I called them to tell them I was coming in to get them ready for my visit in Georgetown. I told them about my situation and how I needed to get back on the road as soon as possible to make the game in Cleveland.

Bryan is outstanding! Gave us more information on the issues with our car than most mechanics. Ken Towery is the only place we'll go to get even the most basic of oil changes.

I've not seen a bigger set of duds in a tire/mechanic shop in my life!

Pricing seems fair and better than dealer. Employees are very pleasant.
