Would give 5 stars if they had BBQ sauce. Chicken is really good, fries not overly salty. Need a smaller serving than 3, kids meal actually would be a perfect size. Had half my meal left over.
The address is Success Drive and the irony is every business previously at this location has failed.
Not sure if I will eat at this canes again due to a rude manager named Steve. I've been coming to this location with my family since they've opened. We've been getting our chicken cooked XXtra crispy and frys XXtra crispy for months now. Chicken 6-7 minutes and frys longer than normal. I go in there the other day and get a 2 box combos to take home and it's not cooked like we are use to, frys are soggy and I have to throw them away and the chicken is barely edible for us to eat. When it's not cooked the way that we like it the frys are soggy and the skin falls off of the chicken. Some people might like it this way but we don't. So we get it cooked a certain way and we've been doing it so long that when either me or my wife walk in they see us and before we can order they are telling the cooks to drop 8 bird for 7 minutes and XX frys xtra crispy. I spend about $20 every visit. I go in there today and order the usual, 2 box combos, and this time even after I hear one of the girl telling the cooks to drop everything and for how long I remind them to please cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes and frys XXtra crispy because they didn't do it the other day. She said I gotcha and I heard her tell them. I get the food thinking everything was good and smooth and get home and sure enough the chicken was not cooked the way I asked and the frys were so soggy that I had to throw them away yet again. So I think to myself, I spend $20 here, I want my food cooked right. So I call and speak with manager Steve who proceeds to tell me he stopped them in the back from cooking it that way because they aren't suppose to, because if it gets destroyed then I'm stuck with it, mind you I have never ever complained about it being overcooked or anything, hell, I asked them to cook it that way and have been for months. He says he stopped them after 5 minutes and that's the best he could do, I said well what about the frys, they're so soggy you can eat them, I can bring them back and show him, I'm not looking for free food, i just want it cooked the way I asked and they agreed to otherwise I wouldn't have paid spent the money on something we don't like. He says I'm sorry maybe next time we will try to get it right. Well what about now?? Not getting anywhere with this rude manager i just needed the conversation and said told him thanks for all his help and the money not well spent. If he would've manned up and came out and told me they couldn't cook my food the way I wanted I would've said alright and not wasted my time and 20 bucks but instead he let me pay for the food, stops them from cooking it the way we like, and surely had to know I was going to complain when got it. Really good management and good way to keep the customer happy. Thanks Steve! Your the best.
Chicken is hot, juicy and delicious. Only one choice for sauce is a big downer. There is enough sauce for three strips but not four. More sauce costs extra. The Box Combo has four strips, a very tiny coleslaw, fries and a piece of bread with a small drink. I will leave it up to you to decide whether it is worth $8.00. I don't think it is.
Love this place. Charge you for honey mustard though. And fries are usually soggy.
It's very difficult to get into and out of the parking lot.
Great food, about a third more expensive than other chicken joints. Cane sauce is amazing.
